Eyes – Smoldering eyes can be yours. Start with Ambition in the crease then apply Espresso at the outer 1/3 of the eye along the lash line working up into the crease. Rio was swept on the inner 2/3 of the lid, it is a light reflective color that adds pop to the eye!
Cheeks – Want sexy, defined cheek bones? First start with a contour color Simply Gorgeous, apply just under the check bone using a small blush or contour brush. Then sweep a lighter color Sedona over the entire cheek bone area and then up to the temple and use a very light amount in the T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin).
Lips – Tapestry lip pencil, Harmony lipstick and pop a small amount of Spicy Coral lip gloss in the center of the lips for a perfect pout. When applying lip liner don’t draw one hard continuous line. Sketch liner on with short strokes starting in the outer corner of the lips working towards the center of the mouth. This trick will give you a softer line instead of a drawn on line.

Play With Color

There are lots of blues and greens for make-up this season. Think Peacock! Beautiful, colorful and iridescent!
Eyes – Play with color, make-up is a washable art! Start by applying the lightest color Ring Master on the inner 1/2 of the eye on the lid and under the eye. Bermuda was then applied on the outer 1/2 of the eye on the lid and under the eye. The first two colors were swept from the lash line up to the brow. The last color Cobalt was applied at the outer 1/3 of the upper lash line and blended up to the crease. Use a black liner on the inner waterline and a few coats of mascara.
Cheeks – With defined colorful eyes I wanted to keep the cheeks soft and feminine. First start with a contour blush color Natural, apply just under the check bone using a small blush or contour brush. Then sweep a lighter color Cha-Cha over the entire cheek bone. By applying the lighter blush over the dark blush it will soften and blend the two colors effortlessly!
Lips – To enhance a smaller upper lip, skip the lip liner pencil and use a brightening shadow such as Negligee. Apply along the outer edge of the lip slightly extending the shadow beyond the lip line. This is a trick of light, by using a light reflective shadow along the lip line it give the illusion of fuller lips. Finish it off with a pretty lip gloss such as Pink Icicle.

I had a chance to try out one of our new colors on Christy.

I used (Straight-up from our new ‘ Happy Hour’ collection of eye shadows…) On her eyes, Hope. On her brow bone, just above crease Kona. And in crease and outer 1/3 of eye Midnight. Also, next to Midnight Studio 54, Straight-up and Sunset at inner corner of eye.
